Air Cadets

Every Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at their quarters located in the RCAFA Wing on Argyle Street, Renfrew.  You must be 12 years of age or older to join.  Cadets is free.  For information call 432-4863.




 

Bereavement Support Group

Meets the last Thursday of the month at St. John Chrysostom Parish, Arnprior in Room 2.  Contact Jean Anderchek at 623-2282.

 


 

Bible Study

Women’s community Bible study each Wednesday 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Hebron Christian Reformed Church, Albert Street. These Bible studies bring courage, hope and growth into your every day life, and many new friends. Little ones enjoy Storyhour with very enthusiastic young people. Nursery for infants. Euchre

Every Thursday,  4 hand Euchre card games -- Knights of Columbus, 315 Raglan St. S, Renfrew.  $3 per person.  Everybody welcome -- proceeds to charity.  Call 432-9303.

The Quilters Guild of Renfrew and Area meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from September to June at the Renfrew Recreation Centre at 1 p.m. Beginners welcome.

Stained Glass Classes

• The Bonnechere Manor Foundation is seeking your help in raising funds for the Bonnechere Manor Centre Auditorium Campaign. The foundation needs to raise $250,000 this year to break ground and we are looking for your support. You can help by making a donation, volunteering at one of our events, suggesting ideas for or holding a fundraiser to help sponsor the project, providing in-kind donations of merchandise or products to be used in fundraisers. • Donate reusable clothing and household items to the Canadian Diabetes Association's Clothesline donation bins in Renfrew at Wal-Mart and Gourley's Variety and Gas Bar. Debbi 613-384-0767


• Sport Renfrew Bingo every Sunday in the AFAC Wing at 7 p.m. The jackpot is $1,000 on the first Sunday of each month, and $800 every other Sunday. Proceeds go back into the community.
