MPP - The Riding of Renfrew-Nippissing-Pembroke

The role of a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) is to represent the people that reside in his/her riding (constituents) at the Ontario Legislative Assembly which is located in Toronto. The provincial government of Ontario is responsible for issues that affect the province as a whole; such as education, health care, the environment, agriculture, and highways. As a constituent, if you have need help, want to comment, or disagree with something that is a provincial issue, your MPP is the person to contact. This may include issues with birth certificates, taxes, environmental regulations, health care, education, family services (like Children's Aid Societies) and more. If you aren't sure your issue falls under provincial or federal jurisdiction, call your MPP or MP and they can direct you to the right person.
